The technique that you are going to use is something called card counting. You will do this while you play blackjack. This strategy is used to keep track of the cards in the deck.

The best thing to remember is that the all of your high cards give you more benefit to the player that it is to the dealer. The low cards are less benefit to you than they are to the dealer.

When you have the high cards, you have a better chance of hitting 21 or getting a good hand. If you have a bunch of low cards, then you will have a hard time getting a good hand while the person that is dealing the cards will most likely have a better chance of getting a better hand than you do.
