Do you know what the double down strategy or the splitting strategy is? Do you follow these strategies when you are playing blackjack?
In the double down strategy, you double your bet size. You will double your bet after you are dealt 1 card after the initial 2 cards are dealt.

This basically means that you won’t be able to hit after all 3 cards are dealt.
Now the key is to know when to double down, because you don’t want to do this on all cards plus you have to take a look at what the dealer might have.
Here are some combinations that you might consider doubling down with.
If you have a 9 card and the dealer has a 3,4,5,or 6 card, you should consider doubling down.
If you have a 10 card, and the dealer has a 2,3,4,5,6,7,8, or 9, then go ahead and double down.
The final combination to consider is if you have an 11 card and the dealer has a 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or 10 card, then you might consider doubling down.

The next strategy that you might want to implement is the splitting strategy.
With this strategy, you will play each card in your hand as if it were a separate hand. It is almost as if you were playing two hands.
Basically this strategy increases your chances of winning. Of course there is also the chance of losing more money also.
As with the doubling down strategy there are only certain times that you might want to consider splitting your cards.
The best times to use the splitting strategy is when you have an 8 and another 8 or when you have two aces.
You want to consider splitting with the 8′s because when you add the two cards together you get a 16.
If you split the two A’s, then again you have a real good chance of getting 21 in both of your hands.
Talk to you later…
