If you are winning more than you have allotted as your winning limit or bankroll, then you don’t want to leave.
If you are losing more than 20% of your bankroll or winning limit, then you want to change to a different machine or stop playing at all.
Slot machines pay in general 80 to 98 over the long run. A lot of times the machines say that they pay up to a certain amount.
Your job is to determine whether the machine that you are sitting at is a high or low paying machine. In order to do this, you have to figure out how much it will cost you to spend say $100 or whatever your bankroll is worth of spins.
If you play the nickel machine, then it would come to $4.50 per spin. Divide that by your bankroll and you have the number of spins or 22 spins.
What this means is that on this particular machine, it will cost you $100 to spin 22 times. If your winnings are 50% or more of your bankroll profits, then the best move for you to make is to stop playing.
The reason that you want to stop playing is that the chance or likelihood that you will win anymore is slim.
If you have the bankroll plus up to 49% profit, then you want to cash out and then play again on the same machine.
The reason that you want to do this is that it may be a hot slot. In other words, it might be a machine that might be winning.
If you have lost anywhere from 1% to 19% of your bankroll, then you want to cash out and continue to play on that same machine after you do the bankroll test.
